Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the resort was a mix of wonderful beach time and some inconveniences with our room. The beach was clean and relaxing, and there were spectacular sunsets to enjoy. However, the location of our room in the basement left a lot to be desired, especially regarding comfort and noise. Overall, it's great for beach lovers, but the accommodations could improve significantly.
Our stay at the resort was quite enjoyable, with cozy rooms that provided a lovely and spacious retreat. The beautiful pool area added a lot to our experience, although there were some drawbacks such as the limited entertainment options and noise from other guests. Overall, it was a great place to relax, especially during off-peak times, but I would recommend visiting in the summer for a more vibrant atmosphere.
My stay at Oakwood was a mixed bag. On one hand, the grounds were beautifully maintained, and I enjoyed the serene atmosphere, particularly the views of Lake Huron and beautiful sunsets. However, my experience was marred by several service issues, especially during check-in and at brunch, where the staff were noticeably unfriendly, and the food quality left much to be desired.
The resort has a stunning private beach that is clean and enjoyable, just a short walk from the rooms. However, the accommodations are quite outdated and need better cleaning, as my experience included several cleanliness issues. Overall, the stay was nice, but there's significant room for improvement in the rooms and service.
I had high hopes for this resort due to its scenic views, but I left feeling quite disappointed. While the breakfasts were enjoyable, other aspects, like room cleanliness and service efficiency, fell short of expectations. The location is tucked away, which provides a private feel, but getting around the property can be a challenge. Overall, it felt overpriced for the quality provided.
